Ermington Pre School is a community playgroup, which is managed by a committee of parents/carers. Who employ four qualified play leaders who work on a regular rota basis, ensuring continuity for the children.The play leaders work as a team. All are jointly responsible for the day to day running of the Pre School unit.
The Play leaders plan the themes and activities for the term, taking into account the Early Learning Years Goals.
The Committee comprises of parents/carers who are willing to devote their time and energy to assist in the running of the Pre School unit.
Regular meetings of the committee are held to which parents and play leaders are invited to attend.
All staff are appointed through the management committee. Police checks are carried out via OFSTED on all staff, committee and volunteers.
